Mine include:
- Run 6 miles comfortably (maybe buy some new running shoes!?)
- Get Ripped in 30 (try to do this work out 3 times a week)
- Drink enough water and green tea every day
- Have a better plan for meals, planning meals before I go shopping!? Something! My system is a total failure and by system it’s eat whatever I can find in my fridge that doesn’t take long to cook
- Do at least ONE thing I’ve never done before!
Looking forward to hearing your goals!
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!
Happy June! Thanks for the inspiration to write these out :)
It is inconvenient that I will have 1.5 weeks of vacation and traveling this month, but I am not going to let my fitness goals slide! Fortunately, I will be going to places that I can walk or rent a bike or hike (and perhaps squeeze in a run) so at least I’ll stay active. One goal is to do something every day! Even if it is crunches and push ups at the end of a busy day or getting up before work (I’ll have to talk to my alarm clock about this one) for a short run or swim. My first triathlon is now only 2 months away, so my other goal is to get to a pool once or twice a week and stay consistent with my running and biking and once a week yoga. I’ve had issues with adding things and then slacking on others. I just need balance and perhaps to scale back on the time and distance of running and biking for the summer to get everything in. I will be making a calendar plan this weekend that will take me until the tri to correspond with my schedule and training needs and what activities fit in when and where. Diet-wise my goal is to stop eating when I am full (and don’t start if I am not hungry).
I am pretty good with utilizing food. I am trying to use up leftovers and other non-perishables before I leave for vacation. Tonight- egg, avocado, hummus, cucumber sandwich. It was yummy.

I’ve been off the computer for 48 hours. I still had my phone but I was out enjoying “not technically summer but officially summer”. Happy Memorial Day!
Meet my new sister, parents just adopted this lovely puppy :)
The 5k I did this morning in Little Italy might as well have been called Run for Cannolis.
Hot yoga tonight. Felt great. And you know you are doing it right when you sweat so much your fingers get pruney.
